Mary G. Withheld Obituary
CAMBRIDGE -- Mary G. Withheld, age 95, former resident of Indianola, died Monday (Feb. 3, 1997) at Cambridge Manor, Cambridge.
She was born Dec. 30, 1901, at Bartley to Nicholas J. and Margaret Colling. She
attended rural school.
She married Emil Elvious Withheld on Jan. 16, 1924, Indianola.
She was a homemaker and lived on a farm in Indianola with her husband all their married life.
She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church and Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Emil on Feb. 17, 1964; and two sisters, Ella and Clare.
Survivors include one daughter, Withheld and husband Withheld of Cheyenne, Wyo.; three sons, Withheld and wife Phyllis of Lakewood, Colo., Withheld and wife Rose of Concord, Calif., and Withheld and wife Faith of McCook; 15 grandchildren and 15 great - grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Indianola with Msgr. Daniel Pohl officiating.
Burial will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Indianola.
Rosary will be Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Carpenter Funeral Home in Indianola.
Visitation will be today until 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
Memorials may be given in her name to the Cambridge Manor of Cambridge.
